My sons Devin and Conner have been students at the athlete academy for 2 school years now.  I can say that the experience has been fantastic.  They have been doing an online curriculum for several years now for their school to allow for flexibility in their schedules to allow for the travel that was required for them to play travel hockey.  They were missing two things in their schooling because of this.  First, they were socially isolated from their peers, apart from their teammates (who have become not only their best friends, but brothers over the years).  The second thing that was missing was a qualified teacher to assist them in their studies.  While their mother and I attempted to help them, however they were lacking a true teacher to help and guide them through their studies.  Since they started the attending the academy, we no longer have concerns in those areas.  They are now in an environment with other kids, and they have a teaching staff that goes above and beyond to keep them on track and assist them in any area where they are having difficulty.  The staff has been phenomenal in this regard and have helped my boys remain on track with their studies.  The teaching staff does not look at these kids as simply students.  They genuinely care about them and treat them as family members.  My children and I could not ask any more from them.  They have been wonderful, and the program has been wonderful.  The on-ice and off-ice training they have been receiving over the last two years is second to none.  Not only have I watched my children grow academically, but I have seen them developing beyond any of my expectations athletically.  The boys love coming to school, and they look forward to their time with their classmates, their teachers, the coaching staff both on and off ice.  The staff in this organization has become like family to us and we completely trust them in helping us raise fine young men.  There is truly not enough good that I can say about the academy.  I know that when my children are grown up and on their own, they will have been provided all the tools they will need in life to succeed in any of their endeavors.  The one regret we have is that we did not have them in this program from day one – this environment is wonderful for their growth, and they have made lifelong friends and have been under the guidance of the best teachers and coaches that I could have hoped for.  Enrolling my children here has been one of the very best decisions that we have made for the long-term growth and development of my children.  It has truly been an amazing experience for us and them so far, and we are greatly looking forward to them being back here next school year.  I would recommend the Athlete academy to anyone that is in a similar situation to us.  They have been provided all the tools here that they will need for long term success in their academic and athletic lives.  Even after my children have graduated and moved on to the next phase of their lives, we have every intention of continuing to be involved in some way with this organization.  They are mentors to my children and family to us all.
